Our goals are simple: to be AMA&#8217;s resource for consumer behavior academics. We provide socials at every AMA conference, </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">often provide a special session on a hot cbtopic, and sometimes sponsor off-site events. For instance, last weekend, we sponsored an off-site dinner at a nice restaurant. </span><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">We also sponsor a coffee break at each ACR conference, as the CBSIG community is often ACR bound. We also have the CBSIG Quarterly, edited by Linda Tuncay, that goes to members</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">.</span></div>
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><br />
Things we are working on include: a best cb paper award for an AMA conference, an off-site learning event, and updating our website to keep it fresh and relevant for cb scholars.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">We will also be seeking a new officer that will serve as a doctoral student liaison (as ours, Yupin, has graduated and now serves as our international liaison as she is in Thailand).</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">We may also seek a new officer to add some fresh content to <a href="http://cbsig.org/" target="_blank">cbsig.org</a> that is relevant to cb-interested doctoral students.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">Our leadership team consists of mainly assistant professors, so we are a great resource for emerging scholars.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">You may call AMA at 1800 AMA 1150 to add the content SIG of your choice. There are many excellent SIGs, and regardless of which you choose,</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;">we hope that it is the best fit for your career goals.</span></div>
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><br />
Please contact a CBSIG officer (under the officer tabs, above) or myself if you are interested in joining our group or just have questions. </span></div>
